Hi, I’m Naima Cochrane, a storyteller, marketer, and educator at the intersection of music, culture, and community.


I have a strong personal brand and content brand (and they're often interchangeable), a distinct niche, a clear area of expertise, and a great community of followers. But I kind of did it all by accident.

I resigned from a dream job without a plan, but because I just knew it wasn't serving me or putting me in position to truly serve others anymore, but I hadn't given real thought to my next professional steps. I tried to execute on a half-plan idea, and that didn't work - because it wasn't clear. I hadn't determined my driving motivation, or my end goals, or my mission in what I was trying to do, and had no story around it that would help my stand out.

Ironically, I had all those things working together in a passion project that ended up becoming the core of my present-day brand, and it took a few years to understand how it came together.

I've drawn on everything I learned during that journey , plus my 20+ years of marketing acumen, plus my current curriculum for my college marketing students to create The StoryPower Collective.
